c-Myc Monoclonal Antibody-Agarose Beads

• Monoclonal anti-c-Myc Antibody (Clone 9E10), which recognizes the c-Myc tag
• Supplied crosslinked to immobilized protein A agarose beads
• May be used to purify or immunoprecipitate c-Myc-tagged fusion proteins from cell lysate
• The amount of crosslinked antibody on the agarose beads is >0.5 mg/ml

 

Detection of Myc- and HA-Tagged Recombinant Proteins

1) HA-tag polyclonal antibody

• Used for Western blotting, IP, IF, and ELISA
• Raised in rabbits against KLH-conjugated synthetic HA epitope (YPYDVPDYA)
• Purified using Protein A
• Concentration: 0.1 mg/ml

 

2) c-Myc Monoclonal Antibody

• Used for immunoprecipitation of c-myc tagged fusion proteins from cell lysates, ELISA, immunocytochemistry of microinjected or transfected cells, and localization of c-myc tagged proteins
• This monoclonal antibody (isotype IgG1) was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 408-439 of the human p62-c-Myc protein
• Concentration: 1 mg/ml

 

Myc-Tag and HA-Tag Vectors

These mammalian expression vectors allow you to express a protein of interest fused to either the c-Myc or hemagglutinin (HA) epitope tag.

• c-Myc and HA are well-characterized and highly immunoreactive tags
• Ideal for co-immunoprecipitation studies but are also easily detected via Western blot
• Co-immunoprecipitation of myc-tagged and HA-tagged proteins in mammalian cells
• Strong constitutive expression
• Confirm yeast two-hybrid interactions in mammalian cells
• Strong clean bands via Western blot
