SARS-CoV-2 RNA detection and differentiation kits by RT-qPCR

ID Solutions

All ID SARS-CoV-2 detection kits are:

  • CE-IVD
  • First intention diagnostic Reverse Transcription qPCR-based (RT-qPCR) tests
  • Ready-to-use
  • Designed for nucleic acid extracted from naso- and oropharyngeal swab samples, and sputum samples
  • Contain endogenous human gene control for confirmation of sample presence
  • Quick – duration of the protocol is up to 1 hour
  • Compatible with qPCR thermocyclers with channels for fluorophores:
    • FAM, HEX/VIC, Cy5 (for Triplex kits) and
    • ROX/CAL Fluor Red 610 (for Quadruplex kit) and
    • Cy5.5 (for Pentaplex kit)

 

Kits for SARS-CoV-2 variants discrimination:

1) SARS-CoV-2 / VOC Revolution Pentaplex

  • The kit detects:
    • three SARS-CoV-2 targets (one for N protein and two for RdRP) 
    • presence of L452R, E484K and K417N mutations
  • Limit of Detection (LOD95%): 10 copies/PCR for SARS-CoV-2 and K417N mutation and 40 copies/PCR for L452R and E484K mutations
  • Positive amplification control included (mixture of specific nucleic acids)

  • IDSARSCOV-REV-500 (500 tests)

 

Kits for SARS-CoV-2 presence screening:

1) SARS-CoV-2 Fast Essential Triplex

  • Quick screening test for SARS-CoV-2 detection
  • Resuts available in 35 minutes with fast protocol, or in 1 hour with standard protocol
  • Detection of one target for N protein, two targets for RdRp and one target for Spike protein

Available packages:

  • IDSARSCOV-FAST-100 (100 tests)
  • IDSARSCOV-FAST-500 (500 tests)

 

2) IDNCOV-2q Triplex

  • Basic screening test for SARS-CoV-2 detection
  • Detection of two targets in gene for nucleocapsid (N)
  • Validated also for the saliva samples

Available packages:

  • IDNCOV2q-100 (100 tests)
  • IDNCOV2q-500 (500 tests)

 

3) SARS-CoV-2 / Influenza Triplex 

  • Allows to differentiate seasonal Influenza A/B from SARS-CoV-2 infection
  • Dual-detection for SARS-CoV-2: nucleocapsid (N) and RNA polymerase (RdRp)
  • Dual-detection for Influenza: matrix (MP) for Influenza A, non structural proteins (NSP) for Influenza B
  • High sensitivity - Limit of Detection (LOD95%): < 15 copies/PCR reaction for all targets
  • Unique Positive Extraction Control (PEC) to validate the processes

  • IDRESPI-P1-100 (100 tests)
  • IDRESPI-P1-500 (500 tests)

 

Solution for Direct PCR:

ID One-step LysMix 

  • A direct lysis solution for qPCR/PCR analysis from dry or liquid swabs
  • Allows direct amplification of nucleic acids without an extraction step
  • Ready-to-use mix
  • One additional step only to add 0.1 uL of the ID One-step LysMix into 8 uL of any PCR/qPCR mix

  • IDOS-LYSMIX-500 (500 samples)
  • IDOS-LYSMIX-2500 (2500 samples)
